About the Role:

Are you a high-performing professional with strong communication and engagement skills? Would you like to work in a small, collaborative and values driven team?

The Quality, Safety and Governance Division is looking for a Medico-Legal Advisor to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for the flow of information between the ACT Government Solicitor and our insurer the ACT Insurance Authority from a medico legal perspective. The role will also provide support to team members involved in medico legal processes across all CHS and assist with delivering education as required.

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable professional who performs well in a small, collaborative team environment. We would like someone that has well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to think strategically while managing competing priorities in a complex environment.

You will be joining a great team with terrific opportunities to work on challenging and complex issues – all of which matter to our local community.

Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of six months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
