Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-driven SEO, Content & eDM Marketing Specialist to join one of Sydney's growing hospitality groups.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a group of hospitality brands and venues, helping strengthen our online presence, grow website traffic, improve search visibility, manage customer email campaigns and support content across our websites.
The role sits within the in-house marketing team and reports to the Group Marketing Manager and Director of Operations. It is ideal for someone who is early in their digital marketing career and wants hands-on experience across SEO, website content, blogs and eDM campaigns.
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, venues, events, food and beverage, or lifestyle marketing would be highly regarded, but it is not essential for the right candidate. We are looking for someone proactive, organised, eager to learn and excited to grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities
SEO and website optimisation
· Manage and assist with onsite SEO tasks across company websites, including page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, image alt text and keyword placement.
· Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for website pages, blogs, landing pages and local SEO improvements.
· Monitor website performance, organic traffic, keyword rankings and search visibility using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO platforms.
· Assist with basic technical SEO checks, including broken links, redirects, page speed, indexing issues, duplicate content and mobile usability.
· Support local SEO activity, including Google Business Profile updates, local listings, location-based keywords and venue-specific search optimisation.
· Work with the marketing team to improve website structure, landing pages and user experience to increase traffic, enquiries, bookings and conversions.
Blog and content marketing
· Plan, write and coordinate SEO-friendly blog content that supports group marketing goals, venue campaigns, seasonal promotions, customer interest and search demand.
· Create content briefs based on keyword research, competitor activity and marketing priorities.
· Review and update existing website content to ensure it remains accurate, engaging and optimised for search.
· Coordinate with internal teams, photographers, videographers and designers to ensure website and blog content is supported with strong visuals.
· Maintain a content calendar for blogs, website updates, campaigns and organic search activity.
eDM and email marketing
· Build, schedule and send eDM campaigns, newsletters and promotional emails using the company email marketing platform.
· Assist with email campaign planning, including subject lines, content, audience segmentation, creative assets and calls to action.
· Maintain and organise customer email lists, ensuring data is clean, segmented and used appropriately.
· Track email performance, including open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribes, bookings, enquiries and campaign conversions.
· Support the development of email automation flows, such as welcome emails, birthday offers, event promotions, seasonal campaigns and customer re-engagement.
Reporting and administration
· Prepare regular SEO, website and eDM performance reports for management.
· Track key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword growth, website enquiries, bookings, blog performance, email engagement and conversion activity.
· Provide clear insights and recommendations based on campaign and website performance.
· Keep marketing files, content calendars, login details, campaign records and reports organised.
· Work closely with venue teams to ensure website information, offers, menus, trading hours, events and promotions are accurate and up to date.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
· A basic understanding of SEO, content marketing, website management and email marketing.
· Experience using or learning tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, WordPress, Shopify, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Campaign Monitor, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar platforms.
· Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging and SEO-friendly content.
· Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
· An interest in hospitality, restaurants, food, events, customer experience and brand marketing.
· A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
· Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with internal teams.
· A genuine interest in growing within a marketing role.
· Previous experience in hospitality marketing, restaurants, venues, events, retail, tourism, lifestyle or multi-location businesses would be a strong advantage, but it is not essential for the right candidate.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
