Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a growing hospitality group.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the venue, lead from the floor and play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You'll be hands-on, people-focused and commercially aware, contributing to a strong team culture and ensuring the venue operates at the highest standard.

What You'll Do

Support daily venue operations across all areas, ensuring smooth service, operational efficiency and consistent standards.
Assist in overseeing food and beverage service, maintaining high levels of presentation, quality and guest satisfaction.
Act as Manager on Duty when required, leading service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Lead from the floor, engaging with guests, resolving feedback professionally and creating a welcoming, memorable environment.
Support recruitment, onboarding and training of team members while fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
Assist with rostering, labour management and team performance to drive productivity and engagement.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, WHS and company policies at all times.
Support stock control, ordering and inventory management to maintain efficiency and minimise waste.
Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a cohesive and high-quality guest experience.
Contribute to menu development, promotions, events and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You're approachable, hands-on and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You lead by example and take pride in delivering great service every time. You'll also bring:

2–4 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
Strong knowledge of Victorian liquor licensing and compliance requirements
Solid understanding of food safety, WHS and venue operations
Proven ability to lead, support and motivate teams
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
A calm and confident approach under pressure
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
