The Meat & Wine Co Southbank is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the day-to-day running of our kitchen and help lead the team.
Full time salaried position.
Working closely with the Head Chef, this is a hands-on leadership role where you'll assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, lead and develop the team, and help deliver the exceptional food quality, consistency and service standards The Meat & Wine Co is known for.

What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a Kitchen Leadership role within a premium, high-volume venue
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor and motivate a team
- Sound understanding of kitchen operations, labour management and stock control
- Ability to maintain high food quality and consistency during busy service periods
- Strong understanding of food safety, compliance and WHS standards
- Passion for hospitality, quality produce and team culture
- Availability across a 7-day rotating roster
