Our Opportunity

Work Location: Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people

Roster: 7 dayshift, 7 R&R (dayshift only) FIFO ex Perth & BusseltonFortescue is seeking skilled and motivated Plumbers to join our Infrastructure Services Team. Supported by the NPI Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for providing safe, effective and timely repair and maintenance to all assets.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance on all non-processing infrastructure
Diagnosing, repair and installation of commercial, domestic and industrial plumbing systems
Scheduled maintenance and breakdown fault finding on a wide range of infrastructure equipment
Liaise with the planning team to ensure planned maintenance schedule is implemented successfully
Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Fortescue’s Safety policy and procedures and in line with relevant Australian Standards
Actively participate in safety meetings, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

WA Plumbing Tradesperson Licence along with a Gas Fitting and Installation ticket
Experience in the operation and maintenance of Potable and Waste Water Systems (desirable)
Plumbers contractor's license (desirable)
Minimum WA C Class Driver's Licence
Extensive maintenance & fault finding experience essential
