About the role

MI is looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Officer with a passion for information systems and technology, excellent customer service and a continuous improvement mindset to join our Information Systems Team. This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Griffith, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain IT asset records, knowledgebase, and other support documentation.
Provide frontline service and support for information systems and technology.
Ensure that IT support requests are triaged, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes.
Assist with broader IT projects (Systems maintenance, hardware management, etc)
Perform IT user & system administration, and deployment of IT hardware and software

What you’ll bring

Demonstrated comprehension of Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems and related technology.
Understanding of information technology systems and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Enthusiasm for learning and developing technical skills.
Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service and support
Be currently undertaking or have completed a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
Ability to apply and implement basic cybersecurity principles.
A high level of initiative, the ability to think laterally and work autonomously and within a team as required.
Ability to foster a positive and productive relationship with internal stakeholders and share knowledge and learnings.
Commitment to a strong safety culture and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
Current ‘C’ class motor vehicle licence.
