About the role
MI is looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Officer with a passion for information systems and technology, excellent customer service and a continuous improvement mindset to join our Information Systems Team. This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Griffith, NSW.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain IT asset records, knowledgebase, and other support documentation.
- Provide frontline service and support for information systems and technology.
- Ensure that IT support requests are triaged, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes.
- Assist with broader IT projects (Systems maintenance, hardware management, etc)
- Perform IT user & system administration, and deployment of IT hardware and software
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated comprehension of Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems and related technology.
- Understanding of information technology systems and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing technical skills.
- Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service and support
- Be currently undertaking or have completed a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
- Ability to apply and implement basic cybersecurity principles.
- A high level of initiative, the ability to think laterally and work autonomously and within a team as required.
- Ability to foster a positive and productive relationship with internal stakeholders and share knowledge and learnings.
- Commitment to a strong safety culture and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
- Current ‘C’ class motor vehicle licence.
