We’re looking for a motivated Graduate Geotechnical Engineer with one year of site investigation experience, including soil and/ or rock logging, to join our growing Brisbane team.
As a Graduate Engineer, you’ll support the delivery of engineering services across areas including field investigations, design, documentation, data analysis, and reporting. Working under supervision, you’ll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle while developing strong foundations in both technical and professional skills.
You’ll also build capability in project management, coordination, stakeholder communication, scheduling, cost control, and client engagement - setting you up for long-term career growth.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Support field investigations, data collection, and reporting

Assist in engineering design, analysis, and documentation

Apply project management principles to deliver tasks on time and to standard

Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers
-
Contribute to proposals and client-focused solutions

Build strong professional relationships across projects
About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:
-
Degree in Engineering (Geotechnical or related discipline)
-
1 year of soil and/ or rock logging experience to AS1726
-
Experience with compilation of factual reports
-
Ability and willingness to travel for site works and work away from home base
-
Class C drivers’ license
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to interpret instructions and apply engineering principles in practice
-
Effective communication and teamwork skills
-
Proficient in standard engineering software and general computer applications
