Animation Tutor — 2D & 3D
Academy of Media | Sydney | Casual or Part Time | Immediate start

About us

Academy of Media is a registered training organisation delivering creative and vocational qualifications across screen and media, music, dance, community services, IT and leadership. We train people the system was never built for — and we need tutors who actually love what they do.

What you'll do

Deliver hands-on animation training across 2D and 3D to students of mixed ability
Guide students through projects using industry-standard tools
Support learners to build a real body of work they're proud of
Adapt your approach for students with diverse learning needs

What we're looking for

Solid practical experience in both 2D and 3D animation
Confident working with learners of mixed ability
Experience with industry-standard tools — Adobe Animate, Blender, Maya, Toon Boom, Krita or similar
The ability to explain technique without making it complicated
A portfolio or body of work you're proud of
Experience working with students with learning disabilities is desirable

This is an immediate start role — we are ready to move quickly for the right person.

Must have access to your own transport and a current WWCC.
