About us
Academy of Media is a registered training organisation delivering creative and vocational qualifications across screen and media, music, dance, community services, IT and leadership. We train people the system was never built for — and we need tutors who actually love what they do.
What you'll do
- Deliver hands-on animation training across 2D and 3D to students of mixed ability
- Guide students through projects using industry-standard tools
- Support learners to build a real body of work they're proud of
- Adapt your approach for students with diverse learning needs
What we're looking for
- Solid practical experience in both 2D and 3D animation
- Confident working with learners of mixed ability
- Experience with industry-standard tools — Adobe Animate, Blender, Maya, Toon Boom, Krita or similar
- The ability to explain technique without making it complicated
- A portfolio or body of work you're proud of
- Experience working with students with learning disabilities is desirable
