The Role
The Project Support Officer will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of diverse projects and initiatives within the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance Branch. The position focuses on ensuring key project milestones are achieved through effective coordination of activities, administrative support, and collaboration engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Main accountabilities:

Prepares briefs and other written advice on sensitive issues for consideration of others

Exercises professional judgement about the application of rules, or the selection of choices within established guidelines, seeking advice when needed

Conducts field-based or desk-top research activities as part of a team

Identifies and suggests practical improvements to processes or ways of working within the team.
The Team
The position of Project Support Officer forms a part of the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery within the Skills and TAFE group.
Skills and TAFE (S&T) focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations. The Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) incorporating the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance branch and the TAFE Performance, Finance and Infrastructure branch, plays a system leadership and management role for the Victorian TAFE Network (VTN) across Victoria.
