We are now seeking a highly capable Senior Commercial Manager to play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of multiple rail infrastructure projects in and around Brisbane.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially astute professional who thrives in complex project environments and is passionate about driving performance, managing risk, and maximising value.

About the Role

In this senior role you will oversee all commercial and contractual aspects across several rail infrastructure projects. You will lead commercial strategy, manage contract administration, and provide expert guidance to project teams to ensure strong financial and contractual outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the commercial management of multiple rail infrastructure projects from inception to completion
Oversee contract administration, including claims, variations, and dispute resolution
Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimise project performance
Provide financial oversight including forecasting, cost control, and reporting
Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders
Mentor and develop commercial team members

About You

Extensive experience in a senior commercial role within a major project environment, ideally rail or major civil projects
Strong knowledge of contract law and experience with standard forms.
Proven ability to manage complex claims, negotiations, and dispute resolution processes
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
Commercially driven with strong analytical and financial acumen
Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related discipline
