Full Job Description

Bowen St Cafe & A1 Bakery are looking for an experienced and motivated Barista / Café Supervisor / FOH roles to join our team at RMIT University's Melbourne CBD campus.

We are a busy, family-owned small business serving quality coffee, fresh paninis, sandwiches, pastries, and café-style food to students, staff, and visitors. We pride ourselves on fast service, great coffee, and friendly customer service.

About the Role
We are seeking someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in both barista work and Front of house who can confidently take charge of our coffee operation and help lead the day-to-day running of the café.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years' barista experience
Minimum 2 years' Front of house experience
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and organisational skills
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Friendly and professional customer service skills
Ability to manage workflow and maintain high standards during busy periods
Experience with ordering, stock control, and team supervision is highly regarded

What We Offer

Monday to Friday roster – no weekends
Operating hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm
