Quality Assurance Officer | Redpath Mining | Tanami Project

FIFO | 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off | 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Assurance Officer to join our team on the Tanami Project. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all construction, mining, and project activities are completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with site personnel, contractors, and key stakeholders, you will oversee quality inspections, audits, documentation, and compliance activities to support project success and drive continuous improvement.

A qualification in Quality Management, Engineering, Construction, Mining, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in a Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control role within mining, construction, infrastructure, or resource projects.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Australian Standards, and quality compliance requirements, including inspections and audits.
Proven experience managing quality documentation, reporting, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote site environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A qualification in Quality Management, Engineering, Construction, Mining, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in a Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control role within mining, construction, infrastructure, or resource projects.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant Australian Standards.
Experience conducting inspections, audits, and quality compliance activities in a project environment.
Proven ability to manage quality documentation, reporting, and records management processes.
Sound understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and corrective action processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
