Casual Chef / Cook
Kiki, Darlinghurst NSW

Kiki is a vibrant and contemporary restaurant in the heart of Darlinghurst, known for its bold modern Asian cuisine, energetic atmosphere, and exceptional guest experience. We are currently looking for a passionate and reliable Casual Chef/Cook to join our growing kitchen team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a professional and supportive team.

Please note: Applicants must be currently residing in Australia and have valid working rights. Overseas applicants will not be considered.

About the Role

As a Casual Chef/Cook, you will work alongside our experienced kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes and maintain the standards that Kiki is known for. Flexible hours are available, with a mix of lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
Experience with Asian or modern Asian cuisine is highly regarded
Wok cooking experience is preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a busy service environment
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
Availability to work evenings and weekends
Must be currently living in Australia with valid working rights

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard
Assist with food preparation and kitchen organisation
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Support senior chefs and contribute to a positive team culture
Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
