Joining our entrepreneurial community of Drinks Specialists, this role provides customers with inspiring information about our spirit selection. We are looking for a customer-centric spirits connoisseur who is eager to continue their learning and leave their mark by sharing their passion with customers and team members alike. Rum, vodka, whisky, sake… it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it.

The SALARY: From $70,500 + superannuation

The ROLE:

Actively engage customers in an authentic way in store, sharing product knowledge and providing end to end service
Work collaboratively with the store leadership team in setting up and facilitating customer events
Advocate for My Dan’s loyalty by engaging with customers to understand benefits and product offerings
Instil your love and passion for spirits into every interaction and use this to develop team member product knowledge
Undertake a variety of instore tasks, including customer service and inventory tasks as well as duty management
Contribute to store sales planning processes by sharing your specialist product knowledge and recommendations on product lines

The YOU:

YOU have a real desire to create memorable customer moments and the ability to work across key customer hours
YOU are proficient in the world of spirits and have a good understanding of wine and beer
YOU have a thirst for knowledge and love to learn about new and emerging trends and categories
YOU love to authentically impart your knowledge, inspiring customers and team to continue their adventure of discovery
YOU have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
YOU have experience in a drinks related role, including the spirits industry, bar work or liquor retail
