Discovery Parks, Rottnest Island features 83-luxury tents across several service levels, a resort style pool and Pinky’s restaurant offering inside and outside dining areas with spectacular views.

The Role

We’re on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front desk operations on stunning Rottnest Island.

This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to live and work in a unique, remote location, surrounded by natural beauty, while making a real impact on the guest experience. If you thrive on creating memorable stays and leading passionate teams, we’d love to hear from you.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

Lead and support the daily operations of the front office team, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service for every guest.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team, promoting a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the resort.
Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using the RMS booking system.
Liaise with Housekeeping to manage room readiness and guest turnover.
Respond to guest queries, providing helpful local knowledge and resort information.
Take responsibility for general office administration and night audit functions.
Maintain strong relationships with park teams, long-term residents, and guests alike.
Be available on a rotating roster over a 7-day period, including on-call responsibilities 3–4 nights per week.

What we look for

To be successful in this role you will have:

A guest-first mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in RMS and Excel.
Experience in night audit procedures.
Flexibility to live and work in a remote location with on-call responsibilities.
Desired but not necessary: First Aid and Working with Children Check
