Pay: $39.35 - $41.05 (qualification and experience pending) + Educational Leader Allowance $2.68 per hour additional

As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

Our Centre – We are a 99-place centre where children learn and grow across five dynamic rooms: Nursery, Tiny Tots, Toddler, Pre-Kindy, and Kindergarten. Our three distinct outdoor play areas are designed for effective supervision and age-appropriate experiences, and we love tending to our shared vegetable garden with both children and staff. You’ll also enjoy a welcoming foyer, a dedicated office space for programming and planning, and a well-equipped staff room for your breaks.
Experienced Leadership – Be supported by our passionate Centre Director, who brings 15 years of early childhood experience (including 11 years as a Centre Director). A mother of three, she deeply understands the needs of both families and educators, and leads with empathy, guidance, and a strong focus on teamwork. With the support of our Assistant Director and Administration team, you’ll benefit from a stable and knowledgeable leadership group.

You’ll need:
Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
A strong understanding of inclusive practices that support all children to be included within their educational journey that align with best practices and legal requirnments
Current Western Australia Working with Children Check
