WE’RE HIRING! Membership Consultant – specialising in Social Media & Content Creation

Are you someone who loves connecting with people, creating content and being part of a fun, energetic environment?

Do you have a passion for social media, content creation and fitness, while also enjoying the challenge of sales and helping people make positive changes in their lives?

Anytime Fitness Newtown is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Membership Consultant to join our team, with a particular focus on social media and content creation.

This is a unique opportunity to combine people, sales, fitness and creativity in one role.

You’ll be responsible for helping prospective members take the first step in their fitness journey, creating an amazing experience within the club, while also helping us grow our online presence through engaging and authentic social media content.

You don’t need to be a professional content creator - we’re looking for someone who is creative, confident, proactive and genuinely enjoys social media.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Social Media & Content Creation

Creating engaging and authentic content for Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.
Coming up with creative ideas for Reels, Stories, posts and promotional campaigns.
Filming and editing short-form video content within the club.
Capturing the energy, culture, members and personality of Anytime Fitness Newtown.
Assisting with promotional campaigns, competitions, events and club marketing.
Keeping up with current social media trends and finding creative ways to apply them to the fitness industry.
Helping grow our social media presence, engagement and local community.

Membership & Sales

Connecting with prospective members and understanding their health and fitness goals.
Conducting engaging club tours and showcasing the Anytime Fitness experience.
Following up leads, converting opportunities and helping grow the club’s membership base.
Having confident and genuine sales conversations with prospective members.
Creating exceptional experiences for new and existing members.
Building strong relationships with members and the local community.

Club & Community

Supporting the Club Manager and wider team with day-to-day club operations.
Welcoming members and creating a positive, friendly club environment.
Building relationships through local community engagement, events and outreach.
Helping bring the personality and culture of Anytime Fitness Newtown to life both inside and outside the club.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

A genuine passion for social media and content creation.
Someone who naturally thinks of content ideas and enjoys being creative.
Comfortable filming videos, taking photos and appearing on social media.
Basic experience with video editing, Canva or other design/editing software is highly regarded.
A confident communicator who enjoys meeting and building relationships with people.
Someone who is motivated by achieving goals and delivering great results.
A positive, energetic and proactive can-do attitude.
A genuine passion for health, fitness and helping others.
Comfortable having sales conversations and following up with prospective members.
Previous sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, fitness or social media experience is highly regarded.
Willingness to promote the club through social media, local outreach and community events.
Availability to work weekends is a plus.
A valid right to work in Australia.
Access to reliable transport and the ability to work within the local area.
Valid First-Aid, CPR, and WWCC (or willing to get)
