Remuneration: $1,601.31 + $1,639.17 per week + annual leave loading + Superannuation

About the Role

Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care. Since opening in 1929 our hospital continues to grow to meet the changing needs of our community and incorporate new models of care.

To provide executive administrative support to the General Manager's Unit in an efficient, professional and timely manner. This position is responsible for the provision of secretarial, administrative, clerical support to the General Manager and the Hospital's Executive Unit. The position calls for knowledge of office systems and procedures, a high standard of work and an ability to meet tight deadlines.

Ideal Candidate

High level written communication skills with the ability to prepare briefing notes and correspondence for the General Manager.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet deadlines and department objectives and manage conflicts of resources or priorities.
Demonstrated high level organisational skills with the ability to manage, develop and adjust work systems to maintain high level productivity
Demonstrated competency in the use of computer systems and software including: Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook and electronic corporate records management system such as TR
