Are you a hands-on worker who enjoys being active, operating equipment, and keeping things organised? Pinnacle Hire is seeking a reliable and motivated Yardman to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our equipment, yard, and inventory are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the delivery of industry-leading dewatering, pumping, and water treatment solutions across Australia.

About the Role

As a Yardman, you will play a vital role in maintaining the operational readiness of our yard and equipment. Working within a supportive team environment, you will help ensure the safe, efficient, and organised movement of equipment while contributing to a clean and compliant workplace.

What You'll Be Doing Yard Maintenance & Operations

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard environment.
Perform routine maintenance and basic servicing of plant and equipment.
Organise tools, materials, and machinery to support efficient operations.
Assist with general yard duties and operational tasks as required.

Equipment & Inventory Management

Support inventory control and stock management.
Safely load and unload trucks and deliveries.
Operate forklifts and other equipment where required.
Check, move, and track equipment and materials accurately.

Safety & Compliance

Follow company safety procedures and site requirements.
Use PPE and operate equipment safely.
Report hazards and assist in maintaining a safe workplace.
Promote a positive safety culture for employees and visitors.

What We're Looking ForEssential

Current manual driver's licence.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to perform physical duties and work outdoors.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred

Forklift Licence (LF).
Experience in a yard, warehouse, logistics, construction, or industrial environment.
Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment maintenance.
Experience using mobile apps or digital systems to track equipment movements.
