This role is essential in ensuring our equipment, yard, and inventory are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the delivery of industry-leading dewatering, pumping, and water treatment solutions across Australia.
About the Role
As a Yardman, you will play a vital role in maintaining the operational readiness of our yard and equipment. Working within a supportive team environment, you will help ensure the safe, efficient, and organised movement of equipment while contributing to a clean and compliant workplace.
What You'll Be Doing Yard Maintenance & Operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic servicing of plant and equipment.
- Organise tools, materials, and machinery to support efficient operations.
- Assist with general yard duties and operational tasks as required.
Equipment & Inventory Management
- Support inventory control and stock management.
- Safely load and unload trucks and deliveries.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment where required.
- Check, move, and track equipment and materials accurately.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and site requirements.
- Use PPE and operate equipment safely.
- Report hazards and assist in maintaining a safe workplace.
- Promote a positive safety culture for employees and visitors.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Current manual driver's licence.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to perform physical duties and work outdoors.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred
- Forklift Licence (LF).
- Experience in a yard, warehouse, logistics, construction, or industrial environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment maintenance.
- Experience using mobile apps or digital systems to track equipment movements.
