Bowral Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Nurse Educator to support the Emergency Department's Safe Staffing Initiative, playing a key role in enhancing workforce capability, strengthening clinical practice, and improving patient outcomes.

Provide education, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff to support safe staffing principles and best practice care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective change management and workforce development initiatives.
Build staff confidence and capability through targeted education and support programs.
Assist with the successful implementation and ongoing evaluation of the Safe Staffing Initiative within the Emergency Department.
Promote high-quality, patient-centred care by embedding safe staffing practices into everyday clinical operations.

Selection Criteria

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
Please describe how your skills, qualifications, and experience align with the requirements of this Clinical Nurse Educator role, and how you will contribute to the successful implementation and sustainability of the Safe Staffing Initiative within the Bowral Emergency Department.
Provide an example of how you have identified learning needs and designed, implemented, and evaluated education programs or training initiatives that improved staff capability, clinical practice, or service outcomes in an acute healthcare setting.
