About the Venue:
Located in Adelaide’s southern suburbs, Bridgeway Hotel is a well-established hospitality destination known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality dining and strong local following.

With a busy bistro, functions, events and a strong food offering, Bridgeway Hotel is a fast-paced venue where quality food and great hospitality are at the heart of the operation.

We’re looking for an experienced Casual Pizza Chef to join the kitchen team and play an important role in delivering quality pizzas across busy lunch, dinner and function service.

About the Role:
We’re seeking a passionate and reliable Pizza Chef who takes pride in producing high-quality pizzas consistently and efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.

You’ll be responsible for working across the pizza section during service, maintaining high food standards and contributing to a positive and professional kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for a chef looking for flexible casual hours within an established hospitality venue, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the wider Oscars Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook high-quality pizzas consistently and efficiently during service
Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and consistency
Prepare ingredients and maintain an organised and well-stocked pizza section
Ensure food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards are maintained at all times
Assist with stock rotation and minimising food waste
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workstation
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
Contribute to a positive, professional and high-performing kitchen culture

About You:

Previous experience as a Pizza Chef in a busy hospitality venue (essential)
Strong knowledge of pizza preparation, cooking and presentation
Experience working in a high-volume kitchen is highly regarded
Passion for producing quality food and delivering consistent results
Calm under pressure and able to work efficiently during busy services
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Full Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available for this role)
