About this Unique role

As part of the Branch Staff team at Fire Wingfield, you’ll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain fire safety protection, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our high-performing talent hubs, designed to fast-track development and build your skills to confidently step into a future leadership position!

Working closely with experienced Branch Leaders, you'll gain hands-on exposure to all aspects of the business while developing the skills, knowledge and confidence to take on greater responsibilities. If you're someone who enjoys learning, thrives in a customer-focused environment and is motivated by career growth, this role offers a genuine pathway into future leadership opportunities across our network.

Your day-to-day

A typical day involves:

Providing customer service and information about products
Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
Maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming branch environment
Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
Continue upskilling with tailored on the job training initiatives
Learning the operational and commercial skills that form the foundation of future leadership roles

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

Has previous experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
Tech savy and is happy to learn new systems
Has a clean, valid driver’s licence and is open to working various shifts, including weekends
Wants to develop their career - either locally, or within our broader network
