SA Construct is recruiting reliable Trade Assistants to support our commercial roofing, cladding and facade crews across Adelaide.
This role suits someone who enjoys physical work, wants to learn practical construction skills and is prepared to become a valuable member of the crew.
You do not need to know everything on day one. You do need to turn up reliably, work safely, listen and be prepared to learn.
The role
You will assist experienced tradespeople with:

- moving and positioning roofing and cladding materials;
- measuring, cutting and preparing components;
- installing insulation, mesh, flashings and associated items;

The role involves physical work, working outdoors and working at heights once properly trained and authorised.
About you
You will be:
- reliable and able to attend work consistently;
- physically capable of undertaking construction work;
- willing to learn and follow instructions;
- safety-conscious;
- comfortable working as part of a crew;
- able to communicate clearly;
- the holder of a current White Card;
- able to get yourself to work reliably; and
- legally entitled to work in Australia.
Previous construction, roofing, cladding, labouring or manufacturing experience will be helpful but is not essential, but powertool use is a requirement.
A driver’s licence, EWP ticket, working at heights training, forklift licence or basic tool experience will be highly regarded.
