This isn't a role where you'll be stuck behind a desk reviewing paperwork all day. What You'll Be Doing
Leading Safety Excellence
- Be the go-to safety expert on site, helping leaders and teams create and maintain a high-performing safety culture.
- Partner with Operations and Maintenance leaders to drive WHS performance
- Provide practical, frontline WHS support across the site
- Maintain and improve risk assessments, procedures and safety management systems
- Lead incident investigations using ICAM methodology and ensure actions are effective and sustainable
- Coordinate audits, inspections and statutory compliance activities
- Manage first aid programs and emergency preparedness initiatives
- Support Health & Safety Representatives (HSRs) and facilitate Health & Safety Committee meetings
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk and enhance site safety performance
- Work collaboratively with our distribution partners to improve safety outcomes across the broader supply chain
Driving Injury Management & Wellbeing
You'll play a key role in ensuring our people receive the right support when injuries occur while also helping prevent them from happening in the first place.
- Manage early intervention and injury management processes
- Coordinate Return to Work and Recovery at Work programs
- Liaise with injury care providers, physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists
- Coach leaders on injury reporting, escalation and claims management requirements
- Deliver health and wellbeing initiatives including manual handling, fatigue management and injury prevention programs
- Analyze injury trends and develop strategies to reduce future risk
- Monitor and report key performance indicators including TRIFR, LTIFR and injury management metrics

- Champion a culture where safety and wellbeing are everyone's responsibility
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who can confidently move between the warehouse floor, leadership meetings and compliance reviews with equal credibility. We ask that you have:
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- RTW Coordinator qualification or equivalent experience
- ICAM Investigation certification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Mental Health First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a WHS role
- Demonstrated experience managing workplace injuries and return-to-work programs
- Strong knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and risk management principles
- Experience within manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, distribution or other high-risk operational environments
- Experience working with onsite health providers and injury management specialists
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
