Retail Pharmacy Assistant / Manager

We are a small, independent community pharmacy looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Manager to join our team.

About the Role

Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include:

Providing outstanding customer service and assisting customers with their needs
Dispensing support and general pharmacy assistant duties
OTC and front-of-shop sales
Stock management, ordering and merchandising
Receiving deliveries and maintaining inventory
Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy
Managing promotions and improving retail presentation
Assisting with day-to-day pharmacy operations
Supporting and motivating other team members
Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
Opening/closing and general operational responsibilities
Helping drive sales and achieve pharmacy KPIs
Ensuring pharmacy policies and procedures are followed

The Person We're Looking For

Experienced in a community pharmacy environment
Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
Naturally caring and genuinely interested in helping people
Reliable, organised and responsible
Well presented and professional
Confident working independently

Comfortable taking initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
Sales and customer-service focused
Someone who takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly
A positive team player who is willing to help wherever needed

Previous pharmacy retail or management experience is highly regarded. A Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or relevant pharmacy experience would be advantageous.
