Full Job Description

Soul Origin Robina is seeking enthusiastic and motivated team members to join us! We have multiple positions available for Baristas, Kitchen Hands and Customer Service Superstars!

BARISTAS:

Do you have a passion for coffee? Thrive in a fast-paced environment? And love engaging with customers? Then this role is for you! As a Soul Origin Barista, you’ll have access to the highest quality Specialty Coffee and work with the best brewing equipment on the market to create our delicious coffee beverages. To be successful in this role you’ll have:

A minimum of 6 months Barista experience
Availability to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
A positive attitude and confidence to engage with customers
Ability to work as a team – when you’re not making delicious coffee, you’ll be completing general duties such as serving salads and soups
An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Do you love making others smile? Are you outgoing and confident? Will you wear the Soul Origin uniform with pride? Then this is the role is for you! To be successful you’ll have:

An approachable demeanour and good communication skills
Availability to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
Good attention to detail and cash handling skills
An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
A flexible approach to work – at Soul Origin, customer service goes beyond serving customers! You’ll also be able to help with stock take, opening / closing the store, cleaning and preparing basic food items
Preferred: A minimum of 6 months fast food or restaurant experience

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a Barista or Front of House (FOH) role is highly regarded.
Team Leader, Supervisor, or senior FOH experience is preferred, particularly in a fast-paced café, food retail, or hospitality environment.
Confident in leading and supporting a team during busy service periods.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, food presentation, and store operations.
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility when required.
