As the Head Barista at our Townsville location, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the barista team, providing training and support to ensure high-quality coffee preparation and customer service.
- Oversee daily operations of the coffee section, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement new coffee recipes and seasonal offerings to enhance the menu and attract customers.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure a positive experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and improve profitability.
- Maintain knowledge of coffee trends and industry developments to keep the menu innovative and appealing.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Barista or 3+ years as a Senior Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and brewing techniques.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
- A passion for coffee and a desire to share that passion with customers.
