Hospital Sales Representative

Primary Territory – NSW (North of M4)
Cardiorenal – Hospitals
12 months Fixed Term Contract

We have multiple Primary Care and Secondary Care Medical Sales Representative opportunities available across different locations in Australia, including metropolitan and regional markets - Melbourne and wider VIC, Sydney and broader NSW, Brisbane and QLD, as well as SA and WA.

We have an opportunity to join our Pharma team as a Hospital Sales Representative for Cardiorenal portfolio covering Northern NSW to promote market leading medicine that improves the lives of thousands of patients each year.

In this field-based role, you'll partner with hospital specialists, multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and key healthcare stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and help shape the future of care within your territory.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated pharmaceutical sales professional who thrives in complex healthcare environments, enjoys collaborating across stakeholder groups, and is passionate about bringing innovative solutions to patients faster.

Build trusted partnerships with hospital specialists, healthcare professionals, and key decision-makers across the patient care ecosystem.
Develop and execute agile 90-day account and territory plans to drive growth, product access, and improved patient outcomes.
Understand and validate patient journeys, uncovering opportunities to connect Bayer's expertise and solutions to customer needs.
Deliver credible clinical and scientific information while supporting formulary inclusion and integration into treatment pathways.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage customer insights, data, and analytics to identify opportunities and drive solutions.
Utilise digital tools and CRM systems to manage customer engagement while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct.

We're looking for someone who takes full ownership of their territory and customer partnerships, combines commercial excellence with a genuine commitment to patient care.

Essential Experience

Full, unrestricted work rights to Australia
Previous pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales experience.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working as a hospital specialist representative within the Australian market.
Strong business acumen with desired expertise in commercialization, medical
and customer experience excellence.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills including partnering with TAE’s and
organizations.
Deep understanding of patient journey(s) and related treatments in defined disease area(s) enabling engagement at a specialist level.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while managing complex customer accounts.
Ability to interpret insights and translate them into meaningful actions and solutions.

Highly Regarded

Advance degree in life science and/or an MBA
Experience within Cardiovascular, Specialty Care, or other specialist therapeutic areas.
Strong understanding of hospital systems, treatment pathways, and access processes.
Experience supporting formulary listings, account plans, and product adoption strategies.
Knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.
Experience with Veeva CRM or other enterprise CRM platforms.
Experience working in agile environments and 90-day planning frameworks.
