Part-Time Administration Officer | 3 Days | Family-Friendly Hours

Concept Stainless Design Pty Ltd | Murarrie, Brisbane QLD

About us

Concept Stainless Design is an established, family-owned metal fabrication business based in Murarrie. We specialise in custom stainless steel and metal fabrication and work with a range of commercial, construction and private clients throughout South East Queensland.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and friendly Administration Officer to join our small team and take care of the day-to-day administration functions of the business.

This is a permanent part-time position working 3 days per week (up to 18 hours), with family-friendly hours available and some flexibility around start and finish times for the right person.

If you're an experienced administrator who enjoys variety, likes taking ownership of your work and is looking for a role that fits well around family or other commitments, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

This is a varied role where you'll be an important part of the day-to-day running of our business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Creating and sending customer invoices through Xero
Entering and processing supplier invoices
Assisting with payroll and timesheet processing
Assisting with accounts administration and general office duties.
Maintaining accurate business records
Monitoring and managing emails using Microsoft Outlook
Maintaining electronic documents and filing through Microsoft SharePoint
Liaising with customers, suppliers and staff
Answering incoming phone enquiries
General office administration
Data entry and maintaining accurate electronic records
Assisting with documentation and correspondence
Providing general administrative support to the Directors and workshop team

About you

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for their own workload.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience using Xero – essential
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
Experience using Microsoft SharePoint
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
Previous experience in an accounts and administration role
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good organisational and time-management skills
Confidence working independently and prioritising your workload
A friendly and professional communication style
A proactive approach and willingness to help where needed

Experience working within a trade, construction, manufacturing or small-business environment would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
