Our SMEATON GRANGE client has been established for more than 20 years and are looking for an Administration Assistant to join their team.

You could be a more junior candidate who has completed an administration related traineeship or had 1-2 years of office experience and are ready for your next opportunity or even a parent returning to the workforce after a break.

We are looking for someone who will be reliable, with good communication skills, a great attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn the role from the ground up.

You would be working with a small, friendly, supportive, office-based team that look after the administration for the staff in the field.

This role will be varied and include answering calls, liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and clients as well as a varied range of admin related tasks to support the team including:

Accurate typing of detailed reports
Data Entry and updating and maintaining of internal systems
Managing site and project related paperwork
Day to day use of Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Drive; and a willingness to learn other systems
Creating of company newsletters and CANVA type documents and reports (this can be learnt, though basic knowledge of CANVA would be an advantage)
Placing and following up on purchase orders
Document control and filing
Coordinating staff uniforms
Assist with planning events
Some errands including collecting mail from local PO Box and pick up and drop off of supplies, uniforms etc when required.

This role is a full time role, working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm in our client's SMEATON GRANGE offices, with parking on-site. Drivers licence and own transport is essential.
