We are seeking an experienced Residential Manager to lead Emmaus Village into its next chapter. This opportunity is suited to an accomplished operational leader who understands that exceptional resident outcomes are driven by strong leadership, disciplined operations and engaged teams.
As Residential Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational performance, financial sustainability and clinical governance of the home. You will lead every aspect of service delivery, ensuring residents receive exceptional care while the home operates efficiently, meets compliance requirements and achieves its performance objectives.
This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys balancing people leadership with operational accountability. You will confidently manage budgets, workforce planning, occupancy, quality outcomes and continuous improvement, while creating an environment where residents feel safe, employees feel supported and families have confidence in the care provided.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be supported by an experienced leadership team including seven-day Care Manager coverage, an Administration Manager, Chef Manager, Lifestyle Coordinator, Pastoral Care Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator, together with a dedicated team of nurses and care staff. You'll also have access to specialist support across HR, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Rostering and Operational Services.

Key responsibilities:

Provide strong operational and clinical leadership across all aspects of the home
Drive operational performance through effective financial management, workforce planning, rostering and resource allocation
Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional relationship-centred care
Ensure ongoing compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation requirements and legislative obligations
Monitor and improve clinical, operational and customer experience outcomes through continuous improvement initiatives
Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees and the local community
Foster a positive, accountable and high-performing workplace culture

About you
You are an experienced leader who understands that successful residential aged care is built on both excellent care and sound operational management. You are commercially aware, people-focused and comfortable making decisions that improve service delivery, team performance and business outcomes. You'll bring a collaborative leadership style, strong communication skills and the ability to influence, coach and support others while maintaining a clear focus on quality, compliance and operational excellence. To be successful, you will have:

Bachelor of Nursing qualification
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
At least five years' experience leading multidisciplinary teams within aged care, healthcare or a related sector
Demonstrated success managing the operational performance of a residential aged care service, including budgeting, financial oversight, workforce planning and rostering
Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC funding
A proven track record of leading quality improvement and achieving positive operational and clinical outcomes
Availability to be on call after house (phone) 1 week in 9 supporting Residential Managers across the region
Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS Worker Check
