Gardener – Casual – 10 Hours per week.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Gardnerto join our team at Windsor Country Village, Vineyard our well-maintained and picturesque facility. Reporting to the Gardens, Grounds & Handyman/Village Manager, you will pay a key role in ensuring our gardens remain vibrant, welcoming and well-kept. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who can work autonomously, takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping outdoor areas and facilities in excellent condition. A day in the role will see you balancing gardening duties and lawn care, maintenance of facilities, undertake minor property work and importantly, contribute to a safe and pleasing environment for our retirement village residents, staff and visitors.
Duties Include
- General garden and landscape maintenance
- Lawn mowing, edging and brush cutting
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Planting, mulching and garden bed maintenance
- Weed control and herbicide application
- Operating a 15kg knapsack sprayer
- Maintaining lawns, gardens and outdoor communal areas to a high standard
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
What We're Looking For
- Previous gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
- No formal qualification required
- Current driver's licence with access to vehicle
- Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work
- Comfortable working independently as well as in a small crew
- Friendly, professional and confident interacting with elderly residents, visitors and site staff
- Willing to undertake a NSW Police Check
