Our Centre is thoughtfully located on Bathurst Street, just a short stroll away from Mooroolbark Station. It's here that you'll find our state-of-the-art facility designed to offer the very best education to the children in our care.

We offer a fantastic outdoor play area that beckons children to explore, a community café that provides a space for parents to connect and unwind, a commercial kitchen for preparing nourishing meals, and a modern, inspired learning environment that sets the stage for growth and discovery.

The Opportunity

We're on the look out for a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our incredible team on a casual basis, covering illness and roster gaps.

As an integral part of the team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.
Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.
Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.

You

Are available to pick up shifts between 6.30am - 6.30pm M - F.
WOrking towards a minimum of a Cert III in ECEC (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Valid WWCC
First Aid / Child Protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain)
Working knowledge & understanding of Child Safe Standards
Working knowledge & understanding of NQF & EYLF
