Key Responsibilities:
ENC/END
Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care by undertaking assessments, routine procedures and care activities appropriate to the area of practice and within scope.
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, plan, prioritise and complete nursing care tasks, demonstrating initiative, sound clinical judgement and accountability for own practice.
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, including supporting and overseeing Assistants in Nursing and students in the provision of care.
Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice and research activities, supporting continuous improvement of patient and service outcomes.
Provide education to patients, families and carers, contribute to the learning of others, and actively maintain professional development and competence.
