Full Job Description

Celebrate Event Hire has over 30 years experience in delivering unique and memorable events for our clients. As a fast growing event industry supplier Celebrate needs a quick thinking and responsive Office Admin and Business Manager.

Celebrate Event Hire offers a wide range of products for hire including marquees, lighting, event furniture, staging and barware. We are set apart from our competitors by our commitment to service excellence and exceeding customer expectations.

Due to increased demand for our services, a part time position starting immediately has become available. The successful applicant will share this role with an existing part time employee who has extensive experience within the business.

As a family owned and operated business this role reports to the business owner. The owner is active in the business and this role is key to supporting their growth ambitions.

This is a permanent part-time role for 3 days per week. 9am start time – flexible finish time (around 3pm).

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer contact point for all enquiries (primarily phone and email)
- Responding to customer enquiries, including event equipment hire planning and scheduling
- Providing advice to customers on their event needs including event lay out planning and theme design
- General office management and business administration
- Weekly planning including delivery and set up scheduling
- Processing customer payments and order variation requests
- Coordinating with the warehouse operations team and delivery drivers.

- The role is perfect for a parent seeking a part time role with flexibility and an understanding employer.
- You will be well organised and a good forward planner who is comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team.
- You must be comfortable and confident when handling customer enquiries.
- Ideally you live in Melbourne's South East and are close to our office in Moorabbin.
- The successful candidate will benefit from an interest in and flair for event planning and design.
- A sense of style and ability to turn customer's ideas into a theme that we can deliver will help when working with brides, event planners, stylists and discerning customers.

A competitive salary package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
