Our Young People
Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, environmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices.

The Role

The Victorian Curriculum and Programs Manager provides leadership and coordination of all 7–10 curriculum programs across the College. The role ensures the delivery of a consistent, high-quality, and data-informed curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and the Saints College’s Instructional Model. It includes oversight of assessment processes such as NAPLAN and PAT testing, professional learning in curriculum design and pedagogy, and leadership of whole-school planning for junior and intermediate programs.

You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing as soon as possible, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.

The role is classified as a Teacher with a salary range of $79,589 to $118,063, plus a fixed-term Position of Leadership allowance - POL 4 (for up to 5 years). Salary is dependent on education and experience.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the potential to work from home one day per week, subject to operational and campus requirements.

You will need

Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty
Tertiary Qualification in Education and/or equivalent experience
Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
Demonstrated leadership in Victorian Curriculum design, assessment, and implementation.
Strong understanding of data analysis tools and processes, including NAPLAN, PAT, and formative assessment.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead professional learning and build collaborative, data-informed teaching teams.
Commitment to inclusive, evidence-based practice and the College’s applied learning philosophy
Strong Interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with a range of people
Experience in supporting young people with disability and/or neurodivergence
The ability to inspire and engage young people with learning activities
Be willing to support young people and our team members to reach their potential
