About Us

Transit Automotive Pty Ltd, established in 2010 and located in Clayton, Victoria, is a leading one-stop automotive service provider specializing in mechanical repairs, servicing and body repairs for Ford Transit vehicles, as well as all Japanese and European cars. With over 16 years of industry experience, we have built a strong reputation for technical excellence, honest advice and genuine customer care. Our workshop is fully equipped to handle everything from routine logbook service to complex engine rebuilds, gearbox replacements and accident damage restoration.

We are now seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team and help us expand our customer base, strengthen our brand presence and capture emerging market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Strategy Development

Identify market opportunities and advise on the development, coordination and implementation of pricing and promotional plans for our mechanical repair, servicing and body repair services.
Commission and undertake market research to identify opportunities for new and existing services, including routine maintenance, logbook servicing, accident repairs, and specialist EV servicing and repairing.
Research potential demand and market characteristics for new services, collecting and analyzing statistical data and other market information to inform business decisions.
Analyze data regarding consumer patterns and preferences, interpreting and predicting current and future consumer trends to keep our offerings aligned with market needs.

Advertising & Campaign Management

Plan, develop and organize advertising policies and campaigns to support sales objectives, promoting our workshop services to both individual vehicle owners and commercial fleet operators.
Advise management on advertising strategies and campaigns to reach target markets, creating consumer awareness and effectively promoting the attributes of our services – including our specialist Ford Transit expertise and emerging EV servicing capabilities.
Coordinate production of advertising campaigns involving specialized activities, such as artwork, copywriting, media scripting, digital media placement and social media content creation, within time and budget constraints.

Marketing Operations & Business Development

Support business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies and programmes tailored to the automotive service industry.
Advise on all elements of marketing – including service mix, pricing, advertising and sales promotion, customer engagement and distribution channels – to maximize our workshop's market reach and profitability.
Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, social media (Facebook, Instagram, WeChat), Google Ads and content marketing, to generate qualified leads and enhance brand visibility among target audiences.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including insurance companies, fleet operators, community organizations and referral partners, to expand our business network and drive customer acquisition.
Develop and execute customer retention strategies, including loyalty programmes, seasonal promotions and email marketing campaigns, to increase repeat business and referrals.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field from an Australian institution.
At least one year of relevant work experience in marketing – candidates with experience in service-based industries (such as automotive, health, hospitality or professional services) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing campaigns and analyzing market data.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, content creation and SEO/SEM principles.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders.
Well-organized, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with basic automotive servicing, maintenance and repair concepts – or a genuine interest in learning about the automotive industry – is highly desirable.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is highly regarded, given our diverse customer base.
