We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Project Management Office on a full-time, 2-year maximum-term contract, based at our Abbotsford head office.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant strategic projects that will help shape the future of our organisation and the services we deliver to our clients.
About the Role
Working closely with Project Managers and stakeholders across the business, you will support the successful delivery of a range of organisational projects through requirements gathering, process analysis, testing, documentation and change support activities.
You will play a key role in understanding business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring solutions deliver meaningful outcomes for both our people and our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements.
- Conduct business process analysis and process mapping.
- Support project planning, implementation and operational handover activities.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Prepare documentation, reports and communications.
- Analyse data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Coordinate and support testing and quality assurance activities.
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies throughout project delivery.
- Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

About You
You are an experienced Business Analyst with strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You thrive in project environments and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders to solve problems and deliver practical business outcomes.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst delivering business-led projects, transformation initiatives or process improvement (essential)
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Strong business process analysis and process mapping skills.
- Experience supporting projects through the full project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, Scrum and BPMN.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio or similar.
- Strong data analysis and reporting capability.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Information Systems or a related discipline (preferred).
Highly regarded:
- Experience within financial services, superannuation or investment environments.
- Experience within aged care, healthcare, community services or social services.
- Business Analysis or Project Management certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMP or CAPM.
Employment Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to provide:
