Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver (Gyprock Trade Centre) - Alexandria NSW

About the role

The Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver is a Full-time position, based at Alexandria, NSW. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre, and you will be delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.

In this role you will:

Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers
To assist in the day-to-day activities within the store
Stock movements and the maintenance of stock
Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements
Unloading inbound orders of stock
Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to
Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping

Your standard working hours are Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 2:00 pm, totalling a 38-hour week, with any additional hours worked beyond 38 paid at overtime rates (including Saturdays).

About you:

A current forklift licence with sufficient experience is essential.
Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.

Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships
Contribute to a constructive and innovative workplace culture
