We are seeking an energetic, reliable and motivated person to assist in the running of the warehouse coordination, namely but not limited to, track and recieve inwards goods, inventory control, day to day running of warehouse operations from our brand new site in Padstow. The right candidate will be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and solve problems quickly and correctly, you will be accountable, punctual, reliable and highly organised. A good work ethic & the ability to support, drive and work within a small team are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining incoming and outgoing logs, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Receive orders, transfers, and purchases in system, and ship and close orders and sales as they leave the facility.
- Track and monitor freight portals and systems, ensuring deliveries inbound and outbound are progressing as expected.
- Track incoming containers along with operations team to ensure the facility is fully prepared.
- Assist with operational planning for container arrivals for unpacks
- Prepare and load stock transfers to designated locations.
- Maintain tidiness and organization of pallet racking and pallet area, ensuring all pallets are stacked, wrapped, and labelled correctly.
- Conduct stocktakes as required to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering with OH&S regulations, ensuring all employees understand and promote a strong safety culture.
- Daily use of WMS (CartonCloud), including RF Scanning and systematic procedures as required.
- Administration tasks as required.
- Enhance or develop any warehouse procedures needed to optimise processes, minimise costs & reduce risk.
- When required as overflow, use any PREPAC vehicles for deliveries as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and achieve operational excellence.
Skills and Experience required for the ideal candidate:
- Prior warehouse experience essential.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing processes, procedures, and operations.
- Proficient in CartonCloud or very similar WMS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional time management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness is required as heavy lifting is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
- Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft programs.
- Current drivers’ licence (essential)
- Current Forklift licence (essential)
