THE ROLE
As the first point of contact for our School community, the Receptionist plays a pivotal role in creating a welcoming, professional and supportive environment for students, families, staff and visitors. Reporting to the Deputy Principal, this highly visible permanent full-time position is responsible for managing the School's reception and telephone services while providing a broad range of administrative support. No two days are the same, making this an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised professional who enjoys building relationships and contributing to the smooth operation of a busy school environment.

You are a professional, approachable and service-oriented administrator who takes pride in creating positive first impressions and delivering outstanding support. Calm under pressure and highly organised, you enjoy building relationships with a diverse range of people and are committed to providing a warm and welcoming experience for every visitor, student, parent and staff member.
You’ll bring:

Demonstrated experience in a reception, customer service or administrative role where you have confidently engaged with a broad range of stakeholders.

Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and confidence using standard office equipment and systems.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and respond professionally to a variety of enquiries.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing responsibilities independently.

A high level of discretion and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
-
Experience with TASS will be highly regarded, although not essential.
To be successful in this role, you will be organised, proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain a calm, professional presence in a busy school environment. Of critical importance is your ability to build trust, communicate with empathy and professionalism, and create a positive experience for everyone who interacts with the School.
