H4A is a 28-bed inpatient unit at Wyong Hospital, specialising in the care of patients with acute neurological conditions and stroke. Four dedicated beds make up the Acute Stroke Unit, providing specialized, evidence-based stroke care as part of a multidisciplinary team approach.

Our unit delivers comprehensive assessment, treatment and rehabilitation planning for patients with a range of neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, neuromuscular disorders and other complex medical presentations. H4A is committed to providing person-centered, high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

We pride ourselves on fostering professional development, teamwork and continuous learning, making H4A an excellent workplace for nurses seeking to develop their skills in neurology, acute stroke management and complex medical nursing. Current AHPRA registration
