This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with notice in alignment with the applicable Award. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
Central Coast Cancer Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team and help deliver compassionate, comprehensive, patient-centred care to people with haematological and oncological malignancies.
About the Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse, you will bring sound clinical judgement, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to person-centred care. In this role you will:

Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care to people undergoing cancer and haematology treatment.

Assess, plan and coordinate care to support positive health outcomes throughout the patient journey.

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team across oncology, haematology and radiotherapy services.

Support safe, high-quality clinical practice while contributing to patient education, emotional support and ongoing professional development.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
-
Current AHPRA registration and Authority to Practise as a Registered Nurse.

Experience in oncology, haematology or radiation oncology nursing, or a strong commitment to undertaking relevant training.

Experience in chemotherapy administration and/or caring for patients undergoing radiotherapy.

Strong clinical assessment and communication skills, with a compassionate, holistic approach to cancer care.

A collaborative, patient-focused mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and uphold NSW Health CORE values.
