About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to support and undertake research led by the Child and Youth Mental Health Research Stream at the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research (QCMHR). The role will involve producing deliverables for a range of domestic and international mental health research projects. The role also provides the opportunity for specialist training and professional development in line with the research stream's objectives and timelines.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

Understanding and experience of research processes.
Mixed methods research, analysis and report-writing skills, in particular experience in qualitative analysis and systematic(or scoping) reviews.
Experience in NVivo and Covidence is an advantage.
High-level interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of mental illness: etiology, current approaches to treatment, and current relevant research issues in domestic violence is an advantage.

Mandatory Requirements:

Possession of a bachelor's degree from a recognised tertiary institution in health, social or behavioural sciences or a related field
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
