Description

Join a busy, established mixed billing General Practice in an eligible DPA location, offering strong patient demand and an outstanding lifestyle on Tasmania’s north-west coast.

Due to continued patient demand, Devonport Family Medical Centre is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join the team on a full-time or part-time basis.

For more than 50 years, Devonport Family Medical Centre has been providing high-quality, patient-centred healthcare to the local community. As an established, fully accredited mixed billing General Practice in an eligible DPA location, the clinic offers an outstanding opportunity for eligible GPs under the moratorium to establish a busy and rewarding practice while enjoying the support of an experienced and collaborative team.

With a loyal and growing patient base, modern consulting facilities and the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you’ll have everything you need to build a thriving practice while enjoying genuine work-life balance.

Enjoy clinical autonomy while caring for a diverse patient population across all stages of life. Whether your interests include skin cancer medicine, chronic disease management, family medicine, women’s health, men’s health or preventive healthcare, you’ll be supported to build a thriving practice while delivering continuity of care to your patients.

There are also opportunities for experienced GPs interested in supervising the next generation of General Practitioners through the clinic’s GP Registrar training program.
