Permanent, Full-Time Role - Mon to Friday Roster, 7am-3.30pm

Ausco Modular is one of Australia’s leading providers of transportable hire and modular construction solutions. We’ve been delivering innovative modular designs for over 60 years, supporting major projects in infrastructure, education, and construction.

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on and reliable Operations Technician to join our team, supporting the maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and preparation of modular buildings for hire.

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring our hire fleet is presented to a high standard and ready for customer use.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment of modular buildings and portable units.
Use hand tools, power tools, drills, and equipment safely and effectively.
Repair or replace damaged wall panels, doors, windows, flooring, roofing, and fixtures.
Conduct inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
Complete preventative maintenance activities to maintain fleet quality and reliability.
Support yard operations, delivery preparation, and general hire yard duties as required.

About You:

Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, and workshop equipment.
Experience in sheet metal, steel framing, carpentry, construction, or building maintenance is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current Drivers Licence
Current Forklift Licence (not essential)
