About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and reliable Operations Technician to join our team, supporting the maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and preparation of modular buildings for hire.
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring our hire fleet is presented to a high standard and ready for customer use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment of modular buildings and portable units.
- Use hand tools, power tools, drills, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Repair or replace damaged wall panels, doors, windows, flooring, roofing, and fixtures.
- Conduct inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
- Complete preventative maintenance activities to maintain fleet quality and reliability.
- Support yard operations, delivery preparation, and general hire yard duties as required.
About You:
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, and workshop equipment.
- Experience in sheet metal, steel framing, carpentry, construction, or building maintenance is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Forklift Licence (not essential)
